Abhi's pov
I knew isha was in pain, but i couldn't tell her much cause I just...I-I don't want to and i just don't want her to think I love her. I snapped out of my thoughts and saw isha is not near me, so i excused myself from some of our guests and just as I was going to find her I saw her going to the kitchen, I followed her but Ranvijay caught be in between.
"Khamma gani rana sa"
He greeted respectfully, "Cut of the formality asswhole" I said as ranvijay laughed off patting my back. Well yes Isha's brother Ranvijay is my childhood best friend, I knew he had a sister but i never saw her as I was in London most of the time, and now when I married Isha I came to know she is Ranvijay's sister.
"Taking care of my sister or what huh? "
He said looking at me with a serious look,
"I am. " I said and before we could continue to talk dadi sa called ranvijay for some work and i went into the kitchen to talk to Isha about her health, but the scene in front of me made my blood boil. There was a guy forcing himself on Isha and before I could go choke him to death Isha slapped him hard right across the face,
"That's my girl" I whispered, wait wtf! "My girl?! There is no my girl abhimanyu, shut the fuck up! "
I was fighting with my inner self and suddenly that man was about to slap Isha and that's when all hell broke loose, I ran to her and held that mans hand, twisting it to the other side almost breaking it, when Isha held my hand and told me stop in a very weak voice and before I could look at her she fell unconscious but I was fast enough to catch her in my arms.
My heart was thumping like crazy, I wasn't in my senses I kept trying to wake her ul, my body weak and my eyes not being able to leave her closed ones, "Isha bacche please wake up! Petal please wake up!" I kept shouting when Ranvijay came into the kitchen hearing my voice,
"Abhi what happened- ISHA!"
He ran to isha and tried waking her up but it was of no use. I checked her pulse and Thank God! It was working.
Author's Pov
Abhimanyu picked isha up and took her to their bedroom, he layed her down as dadi sa and Radhika maa came seeing isha in abhimanyu's arms unconscious. They tried waking isha up but it didn't work either, abhi didn't waste any time and called the doctor.
"You'll be here in the next 15 mins or isha will be the last patient you see in your whole time! "
The doctor being horrified, came in no time and checked isha, he calmed everyone down and asked abhimanyu about isha's menstrual cycle,
"I- im not sure.. "
Ranvijay spoke before abhimanyu could stutter any longer "She gets bad cramps while her periods some times.. Maybe she is on her period right now.. " Abhimanyu gave ranvijay a thankyou look, but ranvijay didn't take it, he gave abhimanyu a blank look and focused on isha. "She hasn't eaten anything since morning and as per her period cycle she has gotten weak due to the period cramps and because of an empty stomach she has fallen unconscious, these are some medicines, give it to her as per my prescription and i have also given her an injection, she will wake up in some time and yes please tell her to have bed rest as walking or even taking any stress could harm her as her body is in a very weak state right now" The doctor completed and all of them sighed in relief that isha was well, soon the party ended and everybody went home, Abhimanyu was beside isha the whole time waiting for her to wake up.
Isha's pov
I opened my eyes but closed them immediately because of the sharp rays of light blinding my deep slumber eyes, I squinted and felt someone's presence beside me, but before I could see kr even sense who it was, I had a bad headache killing me, my cramps were fine now but this headache wasn't helping. I finally opened my eyes and saw abhimanyu sitting beside me with his laptop on his lap as he was typing something, damn his veins were veining!!
I shifted a little and it grabbed his attention real quick, he kept his laptop away and helped me to sit up,
"Are you okay? Is there any pain? Do you feel like fainting again? Are you hungry? Are you still having cramps? "
He bombed me with all his questions, I kind of felt nice but it wasn't the feeling I was expecting, " One questions at a time Mr Rathore" I smiled weakly looking at him and he just sighed, he called someone and they brought some hot soup, a hot bag and some other healthy food.. Eeeek! !
"There is no way I'm eating this! "
I said as abhimanyu looked at me like he didn't give a fuck, he was ready to shove it down my throat, "You have no choice, eat it. " He said but there ain't now way eating this all healthy salad food! "I'm indian not from London that I'll eat this bland food! Me bina masale ke khana kya chai bhi nhi peeti!"(I don't even drink tea without spices, there is no way I'm eating food without spices)
I folded my hands with disagreement and he lost it.. He came closer to me and before he could come food that green thing in my mouth radhika maa came inside, and the way I RAN to her to save myself was just epic!
"Arey baccha kya hua?" (Oh kiddo what happened?)
She asked and I whined exactly like a little kid, "Ye mujhe zabardasti palak khila rahe hai" I cried my fake tears as radhika maa made me sit on the bed and explained me how it was Necessary for me to eat healthy food, but abhimanyu was not buying the counciling on eating healthy food,
"Itna maat samjhao, sidha mu me dal do"
He said and radhika maa just gave him a look, soon he got back to his work but didn't leave my side and on the other hand maa started feeding me with her own hands, I finally ate all the food and she gave me the medicine and left, I stared at the capsule in my hand for long enough for abhimanyu to look at me "What now? Ye bhi khilana padega? " I looked at him annoyed yet scared,
"isko khol ke do
I said as he looked at me in pure horror
"Kya?!"
I told him how I thought capsules would be stuck in my throat if I swallowed them even if they never do but my fear came all over me, he argued alot but I didn't listen, at this point he was really annoyed and just went outside, I didn't know what to do at this point, I had to eat it but I didn't want to.
But soon I heard the door opening and abhimanyu came in the room with a spoon
"What is that? "
I asked as he took the capsule and opened it in the spoon he mixed it and gave it to me,
"It's honey, there won't be a bitter taste, eat it now"
Hayeee!!! Ye aadmi ne toh mera dil jeet liya!
I happily took the spoon and ate it. Soon I went into a deep slumber after doing my night routine.
Abhimanyu's pov
She has too many tantrums, need tk cut it off soon it really isn't good for her health. I was done with my work and turned to see her sleeping with a cute pout formed on her lips, her hair a little messy and her little palms holding the blanket tightly, why is she so cute!
I removed some hair from her face and just stared at her,
"Take a photo it will last longer rathore saheb"
I almost flinched hearing her voice, why is she awake?! I backed of and she just turned to the other side and just slept leaving me embarrassed here, soon I kept my work aside and slept beside her, I didn't even realise how we both were sleeping ok the same bed, there was no sleeping on the couch cliches and common problems like sleeping away from each other. I ignored everything and slept.
The next morning~
Isha's pov
I woke up all fresh and healthy, with no cramps and no headaches, i didn't see abhimanyu beside me, I felt weird but shook that feeling off. I got a little dressed wearing a simple kurta and went down stairs. As soon as I went down stairs everybody came to me and check if I was okay or not, I mean even if it wasn't planned for me to be their daughter in law, they have just loved me like their own daughter and ik really lucky to have them, we ate breakfast and I still didn't know where abhimanyu was, I just went upstairs and saw abhimanyu wearing his coat about to head out for work I guess,
"Good morning"
I said in a happy voice but he just hummed at me, huh weird he was so nice yesterday and now? All rude again! He didn't even look at me and just went outside walking past me like I don't even exist, it hurts.. I just don't know why.. Maybe he is just trying to be cold so I don't think much about his actions? Or maybe he just trying to get attention from me? I really am delulu.. I gave it some thought when I got a great idea.. What if I cook his favorite food? I really don't know much about him and maybe we can bond over a good movie and some of his favorite food!
After an hour or so I arranged the home theatre to be a little decorated with blankets pillows and food trays, it was just how comfy I liked it, it was a small surprise but something I really wanted to do for him after he took so good care of me, and maybe I would know about his feelings and get closure on mine..
I was thinking to do something more to the space but I heard a knock on the main door and I knew it was abhimanyu, I ran to the door to open it and blind folded him making him all confused about my actions..
"I have a surprise for you!"
